About me
I am an Assistant Principal at Janney Elementary School in Washington, DC. My background is in ESOL and Special Education, and much of my work has focused on inclusive practices that support multilingual learners with disabilities. Post-COVID, I was invited into school leadership, and I am grateful to now serve as an AP alongside an incredible community of educators, students, and families. I am especially interested in how thinking routines, shared language, and relational practices can deepen learning and amplify student voice across classrooms.Outside of school, I am the proud parent of four children who are in college, graduate school, and beyond. I love cats, dogs, traveling, and learning through collaboration with peers. I am grateful to be here and excited to learn alongside this community.
