About me
Stephanie Sneed is the Primary School Director of Teaching and Learning and the PYP Coordinator at Washington International School. She is passionate about curriculum development and empowering teacher voice to lead institutional change. Stephanie coaches teams on concept-based curriculum and instruction and designs in-house professional development to foster continuous growth. Since first encountering Project Zero’s Visible Thinking in 2008, she has actively explored and applied PZ ideas in her practice. She attended WISSIT for the first time in 2015—her first year at WIS—and has since collaborated with PZ researchers Edward Clapp and Sarah Sheya on the Making Across the Curriculum project, integrating maker-centered learning into the curriculum. She has worked with Mark Church to support teachers in evidencing learning using practices inspired by The Power of Making Thinking Visible. This year at WISSIT, she will co-lead a learning group.
