About me
Scarlett McCullough is the Tour Coordinator at the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art, and was previously a K-12 Museum Educator for over two years at NMAA, where she has scheduled, co-created, and facilitated both virtual and in-person educational programs with adult school groups based on the museum’s collection. Scarlett has also been working intermittently with the Smithsonian since 2020 through positions at the National Postal Museum and the Arts+Industries Building, specializing in education, visitor services, and public programming both virtually and in-person. Prior to her time with the Smithsonian, she has held roles at Barnett Shoals Elementary in Athens, GA and Van Ness Elementary here in DC as a Classroom Educator and Reading & Learning Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in Teaching for Museum Education from The George Washington University.
