About me
Meghan Lally Keaton is the Acting Head of Gallery and Studio Learning at the National Gallery of Art. Prior to the NGA, Meghan was the Manager of Education Programs at El Museo del Barrio and the Director of Education at Friendship Children’s Center. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication from George Washington University and a Master’s degree in art history and museum studies from City College. She started her career in early childhood education and still loves the littlest learners the most. Her work focuses on using art as a platform for exploration, creativity, healing, and community building. She also loves cooking, sailing, and making art of all kinds.
