About me
Mariell is currently a lead kindergarten teacher in the Primary School at Washington International School. She is known for her energy, commitment and passion for teaching. She is deeply dedicated to teaching Spanish through inquiry, creating meaningful learning experiences that empower students to construct their own understanding. She also integrates thinking routines and strategies that make thinking visible, supporting deep and lasting understanding. Mariell first attended WISIT in 2015, where she enjoyed collaborating with collegues. She is very excited to return to WISIT as a Fellow.
