About me
Inmaculada “Macu” has been an early childhood educator for over 20 years, teaching in various countries including Italy, Spain, China, and Washington, D.C., which she now calls home. She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a bilingual specialization, and a Certificate in Early Childhood Leadership from Harvard. Passionate about Project Zero and play-based learning, she has pursued extensive professional development in both areas, making her teaching interactive and aligned with the latest educational innovations. This will be her fifth WISIT and at the Washington International School, where she teaches Preschool and Prekindergarten. She is excited to continue her learning journey and embrace the new experiences that WISIT will bring to her practice.
