About me
Kerri Redding is a lifelong educator and digigriot fueled by curiosity and a love of humans. A founding member of DC-Project Zero (DC-PZ) and WISIT, she has served on the faculty of WISIT since its founding. Kerri currently serves as an elementary Library Media Specialist for DCPS, where their humanist approach to educational inquiry weaves together Montessori, Quaker, and International Baccalaureate pedagogies with the power of storytelling, media literacy, and community building. A graduate of Project Zero Classroom, they have collaborated with PZ researchers on Making Thinking Visible, Agency By Design, Justice By Design, and Cultures of Thinking over the past decade. Prior to her current role, Kerri served as a Director of Academic Technology and Program Director, bringing over 35 years of experience to her practice. Kerri holds a BA from Wesleyan University, an M.Ed from Erikson Institute/Loyola University Chicago, and is currently pursuing their MLIS. Kerri is honored to co-lead a museum course for WISIT 2026.
