About me
Heidi Bachman began her teaching career over 30 years ago, fascinated by human neurodiversity and our natural inclination towards inquiry. She has worked as a Middle School Learning Specialist, Student Support Coordinator, Lower School Principal, and Lower School Division Director in diverse schools worldwide. She is passionate about how education can support a just and inclusive society. She is an experienced PZ Educator and co-creator of the global virtual workshop “Teaching and Learning for Intercultural Understanding.” In 2022, she started the Playful Kinder group as part of DC-PZ, which has now become the Playful Colleagues group for all grade-level educators. Heidi holds a BA in History from Trinity University, an MA in Elementary Science Education from Mills College, and an MSc in Inclusive and Special Education from the University of Edinburgh.
