About me
Grant King (they/he) is entering their fourth year at Washington International School, where they teach middle school English and serve as the English subject coordinator. He loves opportunities to challenge himself and gain new strategies and skills as an educator; in addition to attending WISIT in 2024, he was privileged to serve as a fellow in 2025, present on queer theoru and and a participant at the Folger Shakespeare Library’s Teaching Shakespeare Institute. He also presented on queer teaching and theory, one of his areas of expertise, at NCTE’s 2024 conference. Grant’s other pedagogical passions include documentation, the Folger teaching method, and antiracist English and grammar evaluation practices. They are so excited to join y’all as a WISIT fellow this year!
