About me
Elizabeth Dale-Deines loves sparking curiosity. Since launching her museum career in 2009 at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, she’s used museum collections to get students, teachers, and lifelong learners asking big questions. She’s collaborated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the National Museum of American History to create out‑of‑school programs that inspire civic action. Now, as Manager of Public Programs at the National Air and Space Museum, Elizabeth leads a team who bring joy, wonder, and inquiry-based learning to everything from family days and story times to stargazing nights under the real sky. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and an M.A.T. in Museum Education from George Washington University.
