About me
Anne is the Upper School Assistant Principal for Student Life and Grades 9 and 10 at Washington International School. As a French native, Anne taught literature for 10+ years in both public and private schools in various locations in France and the United States. She extensively uses Project Zero strategies in her practice and is particularly interested in developing agency, Global Competence, cultural understanding, and a sensitivity to justice through the use of Thinking Routines, Museum exploration, and making. In her current role, she focuses on empowering student leaders and uses Project Zero tools to inspire teachers to implement meaningful change in their practice. She was part of the JusticeXDesign origin cohort led by Sarah Sheya, the Making Across the Curriculum PZ project led by Edward Clapp and Sarah Sheya, and Exploring Museums with the World in Mind led by Veronica Boix-Mansilla.
