How do brain science, emotional safety, and experiences of stress and trauma shape students’ ability to learn, especially for multilingual learners? In this interactive workshop, we will examine how stress and trauma impact key brain systems and what this means for attention, memory, and language development. Together, we will connect this research to practice, identifying concrete strategies that we can implement immediately to support engagement, strengthen working memory, and create conditions where all learners can thrive.
